Susan Wojcicki
Susan Diane Wojcicki (1968 - ) has been the CEO of YouTube since 2014. Wojcicki studied history and literature at Harvard University, a MSc in economics and MBA at UCLA. In 1998, she, Larry Page and Sergey Brin started Google in her garage. She was centrally involved in developing several of their early products, including Google Books and Adsense. She subsequently initiated and managed Google’s purchase of Youtube ($1.65 billion in 2006), then of Doubleclick ($3.1 billion in 2007). She has advocated strongly for paid maternity leave. She models balance in life, and leads with opportunity and innovative thinking, boldness in uncertainty and ambiguity, and clarity.
